Even though we always have a makeup artist for our shoots adding to the Glamour and over all look of the photos. I have to give one piece of advice that I hear over and over from the editors: “A little styling and Lip Gloss go a long way” Yep from the horses mouth themselves.
Magazines in general hold a very high regard for the Natural Styling of a shoot and of course one of the things they ask for in general is gorgeous lips. So the next time you shoot remember to bring a little Lip Gloss and apply it frequently it definately is going to make your photoshoot a whole lot better! After all who doesnt want to look their best?

here is a great Model to look at 
Shot in the Studio she had a very sexy look that camera loved. We did a few different looks and was open to shooting different stuff which was great. A natural model it was a pleasue to photograph her! the Vancouver SUmmer Season is here so take advantage of the Summer Photographers Special we have going on!
Everybody is always looking for something different in there photoshoot. Sometimes just something a little different is great to shoot as well. Here is something we shot with a little bit of an edge.
Once in a while you get somebody with just stunning features and this girl is a perfect example. For anybody who shoots photos they love when a girl this comes through their studio as it makes life easy. Best thing about it was her wonderful personality. With her eyes the color of ice she had a very warm heart. Who would have thought?
Part of the thrill that come from shooting is being outside just at the right time, just at the right place. And this was just one of those places to do a great shoot. On a country farm with animals all over the place. I will actually have to post some of the turkeys that were there. I prefer outdoor shooting to indoor although you are not constrained to shoot during certain hours in the studio. Anyway here is a cute pic taken. Enjoy!

Some fun for sure in the studio in getting some different looks from a model and this was one of those times. Some times simple works the best and is kinds a modern twist on a classic favorite when it comes to shooting photos.

A lot of girls ask me Is there anything I should know for the shoot day? Well sure there is here are
1. Have an Idea what you want before hand. Starting with a great concept makes for great pictures.
2. Remember you are Modeling and that you don’t have to be a pro to look great!
3. Healthy skin- I can’t say too much about this. The clearer the skin the better. A tan is great. A spray tan works great too. If you plan on being
tanned for the shoot, you should build the tan over time at least 2 weeks and not just the day before.
4. Great Hair- Same as skin. Remember roots do show so if you are going to get your hair done do it a week before so it doesn’t look too dry.
5. Colors- If certain colors look great on you tell me:) I can plan ahead.
6. Don’t be shy. Seriously being upbeat, positive and happy can lead to some great photos!
7. Posing isn’t easy. It might be uncomfortable for a couple minutes but the picture last forever
8. Have fun! That’s the name of the game and the more fun you have the more fun the photographer can show.
9. Nail- Get them done or simply buy the press on ones. They look great and nobody can tell.
10. Wardrobe- Although I have some it is always great to bring stuff that you love or want to be seen in!

Once a year that special time comes up….Valentines Day, so hate or love it the only thing you can do is photograph it, so you can look back at a moment in time. Well I am adding a new front end to Glamourphotos.
This site has grown so much in the last year and I thought it would be a great idea to liven it up and add something completely new to it.
I am going to start using this as a blog for myself and detail a lot more of the type of work I will be doing including diving back in again into some fashion and more commercial photography for this year.
So with out further ado I will upload and implement the new site and then go and fix all the broken links I have created from this upgrade.
